MKI provides technical support and sales of equipment for the electric power grid in construction projects involving generating, transmitting, protecting, and automating energy delivery. We interact with engineering design/consulting firms, building contractors, and project owners by providing component specification assistance for electrical power equipment ranging from 480V switchgear up to 765kV substations.

Customers within our territory of California, Nevada, Hawaii and Guam frequently include electric utility companies, power generation plants (nuclear, coal, natural gas, hydro, solar, wind, geothermal), water/wastewater processing plants, industrial facilities, universities, hospitals, government facilities, oil/gas/petrochemical facilities, distributors, engineering consulting firms, and more.
