Designed by industry experts, the course material demystifies the investment arena and covers various topics such as: Asset Allocation, Behavioral Finance, Managing Volatility, Evaluating Performance, Manager & Adviser Selection, Alternative Investments and more.
The Center offers classes in the following formats:
"Lunch & Learn" events - These one-time, topic-driven workshops are designed to cover a specific area in same amount of time someone would normally spend at lunch. Lunch and Learn events are typically free of charge and are designed to educate attendees and encourage future attendance at CFPWM events. Stop in for some complimentary appetizers, while redefining the term "Power Lunch".
Four-Part Comprehensive Course - This complete, unbiased program is the cornerstone to the CFPWM mission: to help individual investors confidently Evaluate their situation, Educate themselves, and feel Empowered to make decisions without the influence of salespersons or money managers. Past courses have been offered through extension programs at UCLA, UC Berkeley, University of San Diego, UCSC, Washington State University, TCU, DePaul University, Arizona State University, UNLV, & Tecnológico de Monterrey.
