LBSA Cal Poly Pomona is a professional non-profit organization that is run by students for students at Cal Poly Pomona.
LBSA Cal Poly Pomona strives to advance the Latino and any other minority student by preparing them to succeed in Corporate America. It's goal is to empower tomorrow's leaders today. LBSA enables students to further their career opportunities by attending professional workshops and events. It allows members to increase their knowledge in what recruiters and businesses are looking for in today’s competitive job market. Among those opportunities, there are activities that further expand the members’ leadership development and personal skills. Such events include the National Hispanic Business Association Leadership Conference. As a professional organization, LBSA provides its members the opportunity to become very active within their community. The various charitable activities LBSA has participate in include AIDS Walk, Race for the Cure, Adopt a Family, and Christmas in April.
