Frankfurt International School

FIS is one of the largest and oldest international schools in Europe with over 1700 students from more than 50 countries. It is accredited by the European Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools & Colleges, and is a founding member school of the International Baccalaureate Organization. The school employs over 300 well-qualified and experienced faculty and staff of diverse nationalities. It is organized into four school divisions for children age three to Grade 12 and located on two beautiful campuses in Oberursel and Wiesbaden.

FIS takes an inquiry-based approach to learning utilizing the Primary Years Program and the IB Diploma Program. English is the language of instruction, but German is mandatory. English as a Second Language is taught as well as Dutch, Swedish, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and French. Graduates of Frankfurt International School are accepted to top universities around the world.

FIS is committed to educating the whole child.
