Illumination Mac Guff

Illumination Mac Guff is a feature animation studio based in Paris. It is known worldwide for its blockbuster films Minions, Despicable Me 1 and 2, The Lorax and The Secret Life of Pets. All are produced by Chris Meledandri’s Illumination Entertainment for Universal Pictures.

Founded in 2011 after the acquisition by Universal Pictures of the feature animation division of Mac Guff Ligne, Illumination Mac Guff has become an industry leader in high-end animation production for theatergoers in all parts of the world.

The Studio is currently in production on Illumination Entertainment's slate of four films, including Sing, Despicable Me 3 and Dr. Seuss'​ How the Grinch stole Christmas!
