ASSOCIATION DES PRODUCTEURS DE CINEMA - APC

APC is a major film producers’ guild in France. Established in April 2007 from the original membership of the Chambre Syndicale des Producteurs de Films (an organization dating from 1945 whose founding fathers created the Cannes Film Festival, The Cannes Movie Market, UNIFRANCE…). It brings together 120 of the most dynamic and prestigious producing companies of the French film industry including Mandarin Cinéma, Les Productions du Trésor, La Petite Reine, Fidélité, Galatée Films, Wild Bunch, Pan-Européenne, Alicéléo, Rezo Production, Epithète Films, Produire à Paris…

APC acts as a spokes person for all the others arts (writers, directors, actors, distributors, crew…) as well as the CNC and local & regional funding . It is also an active member of the BLOC (Communication Board of the Cinema Associations) which he chaired in 2009.

APC is governed by a Board of 40 members who meet every 3 weeks. Several committees also meet regularly regarding the main strategic subjects of the film industry.
