Japanese Film Festival Singapore

Annual Film Festival held in Singapore which brings in the best highlights from Japanese Cinema. Its programme comprises of ticketed screenings and free film screenings. Supported by the Japan Foundation, and Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and local organisations like the National Museum of Singapore. This festival is a volunteer-led festival with no salaried staff, and is made possible by the passions of its volunteers. It has a history in Singapore dating before 1983 and has been organised by various organisations. Since 1983, the Embassy of Japan and Singapore Film Society, together with its partners have helped organised this annual festival and is a highlight on the arts calendar in Singapore.
