Autism Explained, Inc is a registered non-profit in the US developing a new resource for parents, families, and the autism community to better understand the scientific research into autism spectrum disorders.
Our mission is to provide clear and up-to-date information about the current scientific research on autism to the broader autism community.
Our podcast series features interviews with leading autism researchers hosted by Dr. Mark Ziats, aimed at a non-scientific audience who want to understand the most cutting-edge research into all aspects of autism biology, diagnosis, treatment, and behavior.
We are also developing a novel community funding program that will allow members of the Autism Explained community to vote for specific scientific projects that they find most important/interesting for Autism Explained to fund. This program will for the first time allow non-scientists with a vested interest in autism research the ability to influence the types of projects that are being funded.
