Founded in 2000 in Seattle, Washington, Open Interface North America began with the simple mission of creating the world’s best Bluetooth software for embedded applications, and grew to become one of the largest silicon-independent Bluetooth software companies in the world. OINA’s software was ported to more than fifty different platforms, embedded in hundreds of millions of chips, hundreds of mobile handset models, dozens of accessories, and other products worldwide. Open Interface North America was acquired by Qualcomm in 2007.
